A Dewalt electric drill and cash were stolen during a theft from a vehicle in south Lowestoft.

Police issued warnings to motorists to remove belongings from their vehicles and to ensure they were locked after a spate of thefts from vehicles across the town in recent weeks.

And a further reminder has been issued once more after the latest theft from a vehicle in the town.

Officers are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information in connection with the latest theft after a vehicle parked on Salisbury Road in Kirkley was entered and items were stolen.

A police spokesman said: "The theft occurred on Sunday, July 30 at about 12.20am in the morning.

"An unknown man entered the vehicle and removed a Dewalt electric drill and cash.

"Can you help?"
