A road by Bungay is set to shut next week for two months of roadworks.
Earsham Dam will close as Norfolk County Council carries out carriageway drainage work.
The work is expected to take up to eight weeks to complete.
It will include the construction of a new drainage system and headwall.
Earsham Dam will be closed to traffic from August 7.
Access to properties and for pedestrians will be maintained.
The council has thanked people for their patience while the work is carried out.
It will be completed by the council’s community and environmental services department.
