The countdown is on for The Aylsham Show 2023, which will once again be a huge celebration of food and farming. 

Here is all you need to know ahead of this year's event, which marks the 75th anniversary, with thousands of people expected to attend.

What is the location of The Aylsham Show 2023 and when is it? 

The Aylsham Show 2023 takes place at the National Trust's Blickling Estate in Norfolk (NR11 6NF).

It will be on Monday, August 28 over the bank holiday weekend and it will be open from 8am until 6pm.

What can I expect at the event?

This traditional agricultural show will feature animal exhibitions and competitions, with cattle, horses, sheep and goats competing in hundreds of classes.

There will also be exciting displays in the various arenas, including The Tigers Army Parachute Display Team and Moto Stunts International, a fairground, trade stands, classic cars and much more. 

What food and drink will be available at the show?

The Food Hall will showcase Norfolk’s finest food and drink producers.

The Food and Drink Hero Awards 2023 winner will also be announced at the event, which recognises a business or individual who promotes and is passionate about local produce.

How do I get there and where can I park?

The Aylsham Show is located at the Blickling Estate and the route will be clearly signposted on the day.

There is plenty of free event car parking.

Is there disabled access at The Aylsham Show? 

Blue badge holders will be directed to park close to the main entrance gate, with early arrival advised.

Are dogs allowed at the event? 

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads.

Are tickets still available? 

Yes, advance tickets cost £21 for adults at theaylshamshow.co.uk or £25 on the gate (cash or card).

Accompanied children aged 16 and under go free.
