Step into Christmas onboard a festive train running on a heritage railway in Norfolk later this year.

Tickets are now on sale for the Christmas Lunch Express 2023 on the North Norfolk Railway and passengers will go on two steam-hauled round trips from Sheringham to Holt and back. 

It will run on select dates in November and December and trains will be available to board from 11.45am, with departure at 12.20pm and arrival back into Sheringham at 3.15pm.

The North Norfolkman train features dining cars built for British Railways in the 1950s or 60s with restored interiors.

Tickets cost £69.50pp and include a three-course meal served onboard. 

The starter choice is either leek and potato soup or Ardennes pâté and for main either roast turkey, a fillet of salmon or a traditional nut roast.

The dessert options are Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, sherry trifle or a Norfolk cheeseboard, with coffee and mints at the end.

Guests will be able to order a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
