A Norfolk family's story is to air on a popular ITV programme.

Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell come to the aid of two men who are searching for their relatives.

Joe McGregor was adopted as a baby in Bermuda in the 1970s, and grew up in Norfolk.

He had a loving family, but his supportive siblings couldn’t share his experience of being the only black child in their community.

The show helps Mr McGregor with his desire to find other people who share his DNA.

The story is not the first local one to air on this series of the emotional show, which sees family members reunited after years.

Diane Kerridge, 74, from Dorset but who grew up in Norwich, was reunited with her long-lost son in an emotional reunion which aired in early July.

She met her boyfriend at a Norfolk youth club when they were 14 and when she discovered she was pregnant two years later, her mother told her to put the baby up for adoption.

Ms Kerridge "never forgot him", and 58 years later, was reunited with Paul who has been living in LA.

The episode will air on ITV1 on Monday, August 7 at 9pm.
