Despite only being open for a year, a deli in Norfolk has made a big impression as it has reached the finals for a prestigious award.

Martin Dupee launched Willow Tree Delicatessen at Wroxham Barns in May 2022 after a long career running tourist attractions.

He has built up a loyal customer base and stocks locally-produced charcuterie, cheeses, wines, beers, spirits and much more.

His efforts have now been rewarded as he is one of the four finalists in the small independent retailer of the year category for the Speciality and Fine Food Fair Awards 2023.

Mr Dupee said: "I genuinely wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for the amazing support I have received since opening last May.

"To all the awesome food and drink producers, suppliers, customers and partner businesses here at Wroxham Barns, all of whom have made Willow Tree Delicatessen what it has become and what it is growing into - thank you."

The winner is decided by public vote at specialityandfinefoodfairs.co.uk and it will be announced on September 11 at the Speciality and Fine Food Fair.
