Your little ones can crawl, jump and slide at the newly revamped play area in the spacious beer garden at a city pub.

The Georgian Townhouse at the top of Unthank Road in Norwich has reopened its play area after just under a month of closure for refurbishment.

It has a rustic style and includes a treehouse, obstacle course, slide and tunnel - ideal for keeping children entertained over the summer holidays.

The work was done by Norfolk-based company CAP.Co, which designs and creates adventure playgrounds across the country.

Holly Moss, event manager, said: "Children love the new equipment and it is great to see happy and laughing faces - it is slightly bigger than what we had before and very elevated.

"We pride ourselves on being family and dog friendly and it is a real USP for us to have a play area in the city."

There are also new parasols and festoon lights, with fresh signage promoting the garden at the front of the car park.
