A supermarket says it needs a bigger car park because it is "overflowed" with caravans and holidaymakers.
Budget chain Lidl has applied to extend parking at its store on the main A149 at Heacham, near Hunstanton.
It wants to build another 29 spaces, including electric car charging points, on a field to the south of the store.

The proposals also include an improved two-lane access to the site.
It says in a planning statement: "With regards to the car park extension, the principle reason for this stems from the fact that given the touristic location, the existing car park (especially during the summer months) is often ‘overflowed’ with caravans and holidaymakers which can often take up multiple car parking spaces."
Shrubs and hedges will be planted around the extension if it gets the go-ahead.
A decision is expected from West Norfolk council next year.
