Harry Potter fans are in for a magical weekend as one of the Weasley brothers is a special guest at a comic con event near Norwich.

Nor-Con, Norfolk's TV, Film and Comic Convention, returns to the Norfolk Showground over the weekend of September 23 and 24 2023. 

The first celebrity guests have been announced and a Harry Potter star will be there all weekend.

This is Chris Rankin who is best known for playing Percy Weasley in the film franchise. 

Rankin grew up in Norfolk and attended Northgate High School in Dereham and Dereham Sixth Form.

He also worked at the UCI Cinema at Norwich Riverside, which is now an Odeon.

He was just 16 years old when he sent off a letter asking for an audition to play Percy Weasley in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and he went on to play the role for 11 years.

Selfies cost £10 and autographs or a photoshoot with him are £20.

The other celebrity guest announced is Doug Naylor, who is best known for co-creating Red Dwarf in 1988 with Rob Grant.
