A new "Instagrammable" city restaurant offering fresh and local fruits of the sea is expanding its menu after a successful start.

Lord's, which claims to be the only seafood restaurant in Norwich, is extending its opening hours to offer a lunchtime menu as the team settles into the "close-knit community" in Upper St Giles Street.

Seafood lovers can enjoy Italian-style dishes with ingredients sourced from Norwich Market, Easters, and other local suppliers, including oysters from Brancaster and the "freshest of fish" caught off the north Norfolk coast.

With 20-plus years of combined experience working in Italy, the chefs have created a menu which features pasta, risotto, oysters and crudo, with dishes ranging from £6 to £30.

Having spent the first few months testing the menu and getting feedback from customers, the restaurant will be hosting an official opening next weekend with special offers for diners.

Mr Sikder added: "People love the look and taste of the food and we are the only seafood restaurant in the city - Jarrolds has one but they do not open in the evenings."

Lord's restaurant is currently open 5pm to 10pm Wednesday to Sunday and tables can be booked online.
