A miniature railway is on track for its biggest Steam Gala ever this weekend with eight locomotives.
The event will take place at the Top Field Light Railway, which is at the same site as Whitwell and Reepham Station (NR10 4GA), on Sunday, July 2 from 11am to 5pm.
Steam Gala organiser Rio Kent, aged 16, has been part of the engineering club since he was 10 and after starting out as a guard he is now one of the operators.

In 2021, he even built his own petrol-electric engine called Scamp.
Mr Kent said: "Bassett-Lowke 'Black Knight' and Quarry Hunslet 'Little Nell' are visiting and they have not been seen in public steam for 40 years."

Return trips cost £1.50 for children and £2.50 for adults or you can purchase a season ticket (10 return trips) for £10 and £15 respectively.
The 7 1/4 inch railway, which launched in 2016, generally runs on the first Sunday of the month from April to October from 1pm to 4pm.
Also on July 2, the main Whitwell and Reepham Station will have its Steam Sunday event from 12.30pm to 4pm.
