From aerial displays to local food and drink, here is all you need to know ahead of the Royal Norfolk Show 2023 at the Norfolk Showground. 

What are the dates and timings for the Royal Norfolk Show 2023? 

The Royal Norfolk Show runs from Wednesday, June 28 until Thursday, June 29. 

The gates open at 7am and trade stands from 8am on both days, with last entry at 7pm on Wednesday and 5pm on Thursday.

What can I expect and who is performing in the Grand Ring?

More than 85,000 visitors flock to the Norfolk Showground each year for the UK's largest two-day agricultural show, which is organised by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA).

Expect 700 trade stands, 3,000 animals and a jam-packed Grand Ring Programme.

Grand Ring highlights include the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team, Shetland Pony Derby, Bolddog Lings Motorcycle Display Team, Scurry Driving and The Virtual Big Sing with Norfolk Music Hub, 3,000 young people from across the county and Gareth Malone.

What food and drink is available? 

The Adnams Food and Drink Experience will feature demonstrations of a range of products, sustainability techniques and growing projects.

Woodforde’s Brewery will be serving up pints and there will also be the Jarrold Wine Bar with charcuterie platters and a street food area curated by Junkyard Market. 

How can I get there and is there parking? 

The Norfolk Showground is located just off the A47 Norwich Southern Bypass at the A1074 on Longwater Interchange junction.

The route will be signposted on all major roads in the area, with the postcode NR5 0TT.

Car parking is free if you purchase in advance online, with one pass per order and £8 for each extra car.

Is the event accessible for people with disabilities? 

All toilet blocks have disabled facilities and a Mobiloo changing facility will be at King George VI gate.

Blue Badge parking is available in all car parks and a viewing platform for wheelchair users will be on the southwest corner of the Grand Ring.

Are dogs allowed? 

Yes on leads - though only guide dogs are allowed in the food and drink areas. 

Are tickets still available? 

Yes, advance day tickets are £27.50 for adults (17-64), £23 for over 65s, £12 for children (5-16) and under 5s are free at royalnorfolkshow.co.uk
