A nine-year-old boy was rescued by a jet skier after being swept out to sea on an inflatable boat.
The child had been playing in the water off Heacham north beach when the wind blew him and the toy out into the Wash.
The alarm was raised and an RNLI hovercraft was sent out from nearby Hunstanton.
However, by the time the crew reached the scene, a jet skier had tracked down the boy and was towing him and his boat back to shore.

A spokesman for Hunstanton RNLI said: "We recommend that you should never take out inflatable boats and toys as they can easily be blown out to sea, especially in offshore winds".
The jet skier and child were escorted back to the shore.
