Eastern Daily Press: Norfolk Day is being held on July 27

This year sees the event - on Thursday July 27 - celebrates its sixth birthday and the Eastern Daily Press is proud to back Norfolk Day once more.

EDP deputy editor Ian Clarke said: “We are delighted to announce the sixth Norfolk Day and it's great to be celebrating once more.

"Even during the pandemic thousands of people found a way to do something to toast our fantastic county and we're sure it will be the same this year.

"Over the past few years, we've seen so many examples of communities coming together, despite the constraints being placed upon them.

"We're looking forward to hearing what is in store - whether it's a back garden barbecue, pub celebration, street party and this really is a fantastic opportunity to get together with loved ones and have a great time."

Among the events we're already aware of is the recently-formed Attleborough Retail Group which is planning celebrating Norfolk Day in the town with a craft market and other activities in Queens Square.

First Bus is celebrating by asking people for memories about Norfolk and what they love about living in the county.

It can be anything about your favourite place, person, or just simply views of Norfolk.
