Established 200 years ago, Clays specialises in the production of monochrome paperbacks and hardbacks alongside the major UK publishers. It produces 150 million books a year, all of which are printed and bound on site in Bungay, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Clays is a source of employment for many who live in the surrounding areas. 

It is always working to provide a better level of service for customers and aims to support its staff wherever it can. Recently, the business has taken on external apprentices in its IT and engineering departments and it has a long history of developing existing staff with no trade experience into skilled tradespeople in the art of book printing.
