An animal sanctuary in Norfolk is planning its first open day in four years and guests can expect a fun-filled event with a chance to feed their goats. 

PACT animal sanctuary in Hingham will open to the public on Sunday, July 16, with food stalls, a chip van and a chance to meet their animals.

A spokeswoman for PACT said: "We've done loads of renovations at the site so guests will have a chance to come in and meet the animals.

"There are 18 goats at our site and people will love seeing how sweet they are."

The open day will give visitors a chance to hand-feed the goats and see the alpacas at the sanctuary. 

Guests can walk through the cattery, go to the guinea pig and rabbit village, and bring their own dogs for a family-friendly day out.

They will be also holding a dog show for visitors, with a chance to win in categories such as "waggiest tail" and "golden oldie".

Adults, children and dogs are welcome, and there is a £5 entry fee per car.
