The opening date of a new Domino's takeaway in a Norfolk market town has been revealed. 

Pizza fans in Swaffham will be able to get their hands on a slice of pizza or two from next month.

The new store in Market Place will be run by Alok Yadav, who has just completed a 24-month training programme with the company.

He said: “We’re excited to come to the picturesque market town of Swaffham, to deliver the nation's favourite pizza.

"We’re also passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people can grow and develop their careers – very much like I did.

“Norfolk is an important place to my family having previously worked in Norwich so it’s a brilliant opportunity to be able to open my first store in the area. 

"Whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

The store is celebrating its opening on Monday, June 5, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community members are welcome to join.
