A stretch of a major Norfolk road is to close this month for resurfacing works.
The upgrade on the A1067 Norwich to Fakenham road will get under way at Stibbard on Sunday, May 14.
The stretch will be closed to traffic while the road is resurfaced, lines are painted and cat’s eyes are installed.
The work, which is weather dependent, will be carried out in phases with any road closures only in place for a number of hours at a time.

On Sunday, May 14, surface dressing works will start in the daytime.
Overnight works will start on Monday, May 22, from 7pm for road marking replacement and road stud replacement.
A signposted diversion route will be in operation while the road is closed.
The resurfacing, costing £35,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department.
