A special coronation cricket match went into bat for men's mental health.

A Lee Calton XI took on Grimston to raise awareness of the need to talk when things are getting you down.

The 8:56 Foundation was launched after the death of popular King's Lynn FC fan Mr Calton, who was found dead at his home in the town two years ago.

After the toss, Calton XI captain Aaron Nicol said: "It's to raise awareness of men's mental health, we've tried to involve players who knew Lee or worked with him.

"The most important thing is that message to everybody that it's time to talk.

"Sport is a great opportunity to do that, it's all about groups of players, groups of friends together."

Grimston Parish Council donated the King's Cup for the event, which it is hoped will become an annual fixture.
