Norfolk could see temperatures hit 20C this bank holiday weekend.

The Met Office has said that conditions may be changeable but a warm weekend is ahead following a cooler spell.

A weather system which has come up from the southwest of England is moving towards East Anglia today (April 27) and could bring heavy rain this afternoon.

The wet conditions are expected to clear tomorrow (April 28).

This will open up for a band of high pressure, bringing higher temperatures with it, due to a warm and humid air mass.

Saturday (April 29) and Sunday (April 30) could see temperatures climb as high as 20C in some parts of Norfolk.

Temperatures will be a degree or two lower at the coast compared to inland.

Sunday and Monday (May 1) could see possible heavy showers with rumbles of thunder and hail - but these will be short-lived.
