A popular Norfolk councillor died after a fall at home, it has emerged.
Barry Duffin, 74, died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on April 9.
Opening the inquest into his death at Norfolk Coroner's Court, assistant coroner Johanna Thompson gave the cause of death as an intracranial haemorrhage after a fall with head impact.

Mr Duffin served as Conservative councillor for Forncett at South Norfolk Council for eight years, having first been elected in 2015.
He also served as councillor for West Depade at Norfolk County Council since 2021.
South Norfolk Council leader John Fuller said: “He was a real community champion in every sense of the word and will be sadly missed.”
Clayton Hudson, an independent councillor at SNC, said: “He was a true gentleman and I feel so lucky that I got to know him.
“Family, community and compassion were front and centre in everything he did."
Ms Thompson adjourned the inquest until October 12.
