A Norwich shopping centre will have its name temporarily changed to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

Chantry Place will once again rebrand to Chantry Palace, as it did for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, to mark the occasion.

From Saturday, April 22 until Monday, May 8, visitors will be able to enjoy a free photo opportunity with a royal throne, red carpet and royal backdrop.

Paul McCarthy, general manager at Chantry Place, said: Last year’s Jubilee celebrations were a huge success with our transformation to Chantry Palace, our throne and bunting decorated by local schools.

"The coronation of King Charles III is the perfect opportunity to bring Chantry Palace back, celebrate and mark this special occasion and collaborate with schools from our local community.

"We will also be supporting Alive UK with The Big Help Out element of the celebrations."
