A pub in a historic Norfolk village has reopened this month with new owners and refurbishment.

The Black Horse in Castle Rising opened last week after changing hands - with owners Jon Corbett and Amy Hudson looking forward to their new venture.

The pub has been closed since last November and also faced constant closures and reopenings during the pandemic, meaning locals have been without a reliable watering hole for some time.

Mr Corbett said: "We've done a considerable amount of work inside the pub to restore it to its former glory.

"The response has been really positive in regards to the refurbishment we've done inside. The pub's been given a new lease of life."

Alongside changes to the pub's interior, they have introduced a new al fresco dining area with modern outdoor furniture.

After settling in, the owners hope to serve food and offer classic pub dishes for people to enjoy with their selection of draught ale.

Opening times are 11 am until 11 pm Monday to Saturday, and 12 pm until 10 pm on Sundays.
