Adventurers can now enjoy a summer evening trip on the River Bure in a lit-up kayak.

Summer SUP, based in Coltishall, have launched a Crystal Kayak LED Experience. 

The first of its kind in Norfolk, visitors can travel down river in a kayak lit up with coloured LED lights.

Owner Tom Farrow, 33, who designed the kayaks, said: "We are so excited and the response has been massive. We only posted it on Facebook a few days ago and we have already taken 70 bookings.

"Everyone who joins us has a story to tell by the end of the night.

"As the nights get lighter, book soon to get the full benefits of the lights.

"All safety precautions are implemented by our thoroughly experienced team to ensure your safety in the experience is intrinsic."

Mr Farrow is working towards building his own solar panels to power the lights, as he makes the business as sustainable as possible.

You can hire for groups, parties and pairs with a maximum of 10 kayaks available. 

Sessions run from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and 9.00pm to 10.30pm and are £39.99 per two-person kayak.

Visitors are accompanied by a member of staff and wetsuits are available for hire.
