A pizza street food company is relaunching in Norfolk after a few years away.

Peter and Lauren Dingle used to run a pizza restaurant in Wroxham but had to close down during Covid.

Now they're back in south Norfolk with Simple Slice with new flavours, new styles and a new location.

Mr Dingle, 45, said: "On top of the classic Neapolitan style that everyone loves, we're also doing the Detroit style and the NYC style.

"We wanted to bring something different to south Norfolk. We moved here for a 'simple life' that's where we got the name.

"And we love making pizza so it's really nice to be back."

Detroit style is a thicker, more airy dough similar to focaccia. New York style is similar to Neapolitan but much wider and cooked slower.

Favourites among customers include the Farmyard with pork belly and cole slaw, the New York New York with three cheeses and meatballs and the Pesto Chicken.

Though the menu is always in flux with Mr and Mrs Dingle always testing new flavours and combinations.

And the couple already have big plans for Simple Slice's future.

Mr Dingle said: "Next we're hoping to get into the pre-packed market so people can have them quickly.

"And we'd love to move back to bricks and mortar. But we're taking it slow especially with lots of places closing recently.

"We're also hoping to do some residencies at pubs and events such as weddings in the summer.

Simple Slice is based in NR9 and is either available by collection or delivery within 5km.

Pizzas start at under £10 and orders can be made via Instagram or a phone call with customers able to pre-book through the week.
