Concerns are growing for the welfare of a 59-year-old man who was last seen almost a week ago.
Mark Mayston, 59, was last seen in the Station Road and Gosford area of Beccles at about 8.30am on Tuesday, March 28.
People are being urged to check outbuildings or sheds in case Mr Mayston has used them to take shelter.
It is believed that Mr Mayston is on foot and is known to walk in rural marshland and wooded areas of north Suffolk.
On Friday, Inspector David Holmes, who is leading the search, said police, along with Mr Mayston's family, are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
He added: "We have searched the local area using drones, assisted by volunteers from Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SULSAR), carried out house-to-house enquiries and other activities, and have investigated reported sightings, however have not been able to locate Mark.
“I would ask local residents and dog walkers to be aware of their surroundings and report any information that may assist with the investigation, however please do not carry out your own searches – particularly in remote areas."
Mr Mayston is described as white, approximately 6ft 1ins tall, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a green polo shirt, black trousers and a black hat with fur sides.
He is believed to be carrying a black rucksack with white writing.
Anyone who has seen Mr Mayston or who has information on where he may be is urged to contact Suffolk police quoting CAD 357 of March 28.
