From fake tan to vegan pizzas, these Norfolk businesses are thriving and selling their products across the UK and some even ship worldwide.
1. Poppys Norfolk, Dereham
Hollie Ikins started the business from a studio in her garden in January 2021 after making wax melts with her daughter Poppy during lockdown.
Her home fragrances and cosmetics are now stocked in major retailers such as The Range, Jarrold and Roys and she has also supplied Katie Price's fragrance line.
2. Sapphire Frills, Wymondham
Sapphire Plant launched her business in 2019 and she specialises in polymer clay and resin earrings, all made in a cabin in her back garden.
She has more than 17,000 followers on Instagram and ships her unique handmade jewellery worldwide, recently sending out 550 pairs of her watermelon earrings to a subscription box service company.
3. One Planet Pizza, Hethersett
This thriving vegan pizza company is based just outside Norwich and is run by Mike Hill and his son Joe.
It started in Mike's garage in the city in 2016, but in 2018 moved into a production unit in Hethersett as the business grew.
It is stocked in retailers across the country and the pair recently secured a huge Asda contract with its Spicy 'Peppernomi' pizza now available at almost 400 stores.
4. Grays Norfolk Ltd, West Lynn
Grays Norfolk Ltd was started by Cain Gray and his stepmum Lilli Gray in May 2022, with its 'Glow Job' tanning range, designed for people with sensitive skin, a bestseller.
The pair have more than 150,000 followers on TikTok and are also stocked by huge online retailer Beauty Bay.

5. Hot Star Honey, Tivetshall St Margaret
Rob Dale, from Tivetshall St Margaret near Diss, launched Hot Star Honey in 2019 and his New York-inspired sauce has a sweet heat flavour.
He has since launched a whole host of new products and as well as shipping online orders he goes to food festivals across the country.
