A popular cake shop is looking for second premises after a "whirlwind" first two years in business.

Bakeaholics is run by 21-year-old Morgan Lewis and she had customers queuing through Attleborough when she opened in 2021 - scenes which returned when warm desserts were launched last year.

Following her success in the market town, Ms Lewis is currently looking for the perfect second shop - in which she hopes to feature a café space.

"My end goal would be to be somewhere in Norwich or down by the coast," she said.

"I have been looking for months and months, but when you find the one, you find the one.

"I would love to say in the next two years we will have somewhere else.

"We have always wanted to have more of a café to sit in, so I am on the lookout for number two."

To celebrate its second birthday this Saturday (April 1), the cake shop will be offering customers some freebies.

The first 30 customers who spend more than £5 will get a complimentary milkshake and the first 10 people through the door will get a tote bag.

Everyone who spends more than £10 will be given a raffle ticket and entered into a draw for a chance to win £100 to spend in-store.

Other free treats such as cupcakes and vouchers will also be on offer for the "big Bakeaholics celebration".

Ms Lewis opened her Bakeaholics shop after starting a delivery service in lockdown - born out of her thousands of Instagram followers.

Her profile - which she started as a hobby after finishing school - has since racked up 28,600 followers.

Bakeaholics will also be popping up at The Forum in Norwich on Sunday with a smorgasbord of sugary sweets.

Bakeaholics will be open from 11am to 4pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
