A woman has transformed her way of life and reduced her blood pressure by losing more than five stone in weight in less than a year.

Rosie Doy, 68, from Norwich, has lost five and a half stone, after previously struggling with no energy.

The university lecturer was struggling with health problems including high blood pressure and wanted to lose weight to get fitter and more flexible.

When Ms Doy first joined Chanelle Ambrose's Sprowston Slimming World class, she was encouraged to avoid believing "that it's not in your control".

Turning her life around, she feels "totally transformed", is fitter and has no longer has aching knees.

Her blood pressure is under control and she also "has her energy and sparkle back".
