Whether you love a stroll at the seaside or hiking in the woods, Norfolk has walks that everyone can enjoy.

Here are seven award-winning walks to try in Norfolk this spring.

1. Blakeney Point

This walk is 7.5 miles from Cley to Blakeney and is described by Ordnance Survey as easy.

It is an important animal breeding area, being home to a colony of grey and common seals.

Blakeney was named in the UK's top 100 walks by ITV and the top 40 by Which?.

2. Hopton to Sea Palling

Stretching for more than 20 miles, this walk is part of the Norfolk Coast Path.

Sights on the walk include Great Yarmouth pier and seafront, Martham Broad and Horsey Windpump.

Hopton to Sea Palling was named among the best British walks and hikes by the Press Association.

3. Felbrigg Hall

At just under seven miles, this walk takes you past Felbrigg and Melton.

There is the chance to see brown hares, spring flowers and lambs in the grounds of the hall.

Felbrigg Hall was named among the UK's most beautiful walks by the Sunday Times.

4. Wells-next-the-Sea

The circular walk in north Norfolk is 8.5 miles and takes you from Wells town centre to the coast.

It follows the sandy beaches, pine woodland and colourful beach huts of the coast.

Wells-next-the-Sea was in the UK's top 100 walks by ITV and the top 40 by Which?.

5. The Broads

This national park, which includes more than 60 open areas of water and seven rivers, has lots of walking routes to enjoy.

Options include Barton Broad, Reedham, Burgh Castle and Horstead with all the walks being mostly flat.

The Broads was named in the top 10 family-friendly hiking spots in the UK by Millets.

6. Peddars Way

At 46 miles long, this walk follows a Roman road from Knettishall Heath to Holme-next-the-Sea.

The name of this trail is said to be derived from the Latin pedester, which means “on foot”.

Peddars Way was named in the top 100 walks in the UK by ITV.

7. Thornham

This walk takes you on a three-mile route from Thornham to the coast. 

It includes the salt marshes and sand flats of northwest Norfolk and is remote without being too far from a café.

Thornham was named among the best beach walks in the UK by the Sunday Times.
