A huge cannabis factory in a two-storey storage unit has been discovered by police.

Officers raided the unit in Mount Pleasant Road, Wisbech, on Friday afternoon (March 17) after a tip-off from the landlord.

They had become concerned after there was a big increase in the tenant's electricity bill and went along with a locksmith to investigate.

Inside, they found the giant cannabis factory with hundreds of plants inside.

A large police team remained at the site over the weekend to dismantle it.

No arrests have been made.
