A couple and their dog have been rescued in Wells after being cut off by the tide.
A Wells lifeboat crew was called into action and went to assist the stranded couple, with crowds gathering to watch as they were rescued.
They were rescued along with their dog and taken safely to shore.
The boat was launched by Wells RNLI at 1.15 pm today (Sunday, March 19).
