With spring just around the corner, daffodils will soon be popping up everywhere.

Here are five places in Norfolk to see the springtime flower in abundance.

Oxburgh Hall

Where: Oxborough, King's Lynn PE33 9PS

The Breckland estate becomes overtaken with daffodils as the spring flowers cover the woodland and riverbank.

The garden and parkland are open everyday from 9.30am to 5pm with entry £10 for adults.

Pensthorpe Natural Park

Where: Pensthorpe Road, Fakenham NR21 0LN

This 700-acre nature lovers' paradise has swathes of the golden flower bloom in spring.

The reserve, open 10am to 5pm, also has a cafe, play areas, activities and wildlife watch areas.

Blickling Hall

Where: Blickling, Aylsham NR11 6NF

This estate in north Norfolk has avenues brimming with over 100,000 daffodils for visitors to enjoy.

The garden is open every day from 10am to 4.30pm with entry £12 for adults and the parkland is open for free from dawn to dusk.

The Honing Daffodil Mile

Where: Honing Long Lane, North Walsham NR28 9QW

Originally caused by spare bulbs being scattered by a farmer, this mile-long link between two villages is now lit up in the spring with hundreds of daffodils.

The avenue is the centre-piece of fundraising for local churches with a day of walks and vintage tractor rides planned on March 26.

Hindringham Hall

Where: Blacksmiths Lane, Hindringham NR21 0QA

This road was originally where carp and eel were loaded into carts to be taken to Norwich and Binham.

Today it had almost 50 varieties of daffodil that look best in early April which are then followed by lots of cow parsley.
