Here are five unsolved cases that Norfolk Constabulary is still appealing for information about.

She was last seen in Rouen Road at 1.15am the same day her body was found.

The investigation has interviewed more than four thousand people and carried out mass DNA testing.

The case has never been closed and work is still being carried out.

Steven Newing

Steven Newing was 11 years old when he went missing in September 1969.

Steven was last seen at 3pm in Lee Warner Avenue by his brother and a friend.

He was reported missing at 10pm that evening and has not been seen since.

He left his pedal cycle at home and had no money with him. His satchel was found at a water tower near to his home.

Police continue to appeal for new information which could help solve this case.

Peter Miller

Peter Andrew Miller, 24, was murdered at his home at Camden Place in Great Yarmouth.

He was found lying in the kitchen area by his brother at 7.45pm on December 9, 1984, after being last seen in the late afternoon by a neighbour when he helped her with some household repairs.

Peter died from a single stab wound to his chest and the murder weapon was never found.

A murder investigation was carried out in 1984 and 1985 but despite a number of arrests no person was charged with the murder.

Police continue to appeal for new information which could help solve this case.

Michelle Bettles

Michelle Bettles was 22 years old when she was strangled to death.

She worked as a street prostitute and was last seen in the red light district of Norwich during the early hours of March 28 and 29, 2002.

There was a series of sightings of Michelle in various locations in the red light district of Norwich by people that knew her, the last being at midnight.

On the morning of March 31, 2002, Michelle's body was found by a local in the woodland by the side of a country track known as Rush Meadow Road in Scarning, near Dereham.

Appeals for new information continue to be a key point to help solve this murder.

Kellie Pratt

Kellie Pratt, 28, went missing on June 11, 2000, and has not been seen since.

She was last seen outside the Rose Inn pub, at the junction of Queen's Road and City Road in Norwich, at 11.30pm.

She was reported missing by friends after she failed to meet them.

Despite a major police investigation surrounding Kellie’s disappearance nothing has been seen or heard about her since the last known sighting.

Officers took 270 statements at the time and various lines of enquiry have been pursued since but Kellie remains a missing person to this day.

Officers continue to appeal for new information which could help solve this case.
