A town in north Norfolk has been named one of the most romantic destinations in the UK.
Wells-next-the-sea has made it into Holiday Cottages' list of the top six most romantic locations for a weekend break in the UK.
Experts at the holiday lettings company chose Wells as a staycation that works for couples looking for a beach holiday without having to venture abroad.
Visitors can go crabbing or fishing in the harbour or enjoy a walk on the beach next to the town's famed stretch of colourful beach huts.
The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe, just eight miles from Wells, has also been included in a list of the most romantic restaurants in the UK.
With a backdrop of the marshland coastline of North Norfolk, diners can enjoy local produce and fresh seafood.
Other staycation destinations chosen by Holiday Cottages included the Cotswolds for its picturesque villages and coastal destinations such as Salcombe in Devon and Robin Hood's Bay in Yorkshire.
