A self-taught artist who previously worked in a card shop now sells his own designs and has had tens of thousands of orders.

James Andrews, 35, set up Pickled Prints as an online business in January 2019 when he was living in London.

In 2021 he moved to Northwold, near Thetford, with his husband Mark and the business has continued to grow.

He has had more than 8,000 orders through his Etsy shop and 46,000 through the greeting card website Thortful.

Pickled Prints is also stocked on Moonpig and Funky Pigeon, but his real love is going to local markets in places such as Creake Abbey and Holkham Hall.

He designs everything digitally and offers cards, including a colouring-in range, prints and stationery.

Mr Andrews said: "Norfolk has a massive community for shopping small and although getting on the big websites is great, it doesn't beat standing at a market in the freezing cold or boiling hot and getting an instant reaction.

"I also want to get stocked at independent shops around Norfolk."
