A man whose lifelong passion was biking got the send-off he would have wanted as more than 60 bikers escorted his remains on their final journey.
The funeral for Martin Henderson, whose face appeared on postcards of Great Yarmouth in the 1960s, was held in his hometown of Gorleston on Friday (January 27).
Members of local Harley clubs assembled at the King's Head in Belton in the morning, before escorting his coffin, which travelled via sidecar along the new road, past the James Paget hospital, then down Gorleston High Street before arriving at Gorleston crematorium.
His son Glenn Henderson said: "It was exactly the day he would have wanted. Those were his wishes.
"He would have enjoyed it himself, if he was there."
Martin Henderson died on New Year's Day after a two-year illness. He was 77-years-old.
Ever since he was 15, he had always had a motorcycle, and would attend rallies around the country.
