Lovebirds are being invited to celebrate Valentine's Day in style as Big Band heads to Gorleston.

The Jonathan Wyatt Big Band will perform an afternoon concert of classics by the likes of Glen Miller, Ted Heath and Harry James from the Pavilion on Sunday, February 12 from 2.30pm.

Norfolk singer Lindsey Ball will be joining the band to "add a touch of class" and offering vocals for popular songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennet and Nat King Cole. Saxophonist Martin Eaton will also be performing with the Jonathan Wyatt Big Band.

Bandleader Jonathan Wyatt said: "It’s time to fall in love with the sounds of big band arrangements of contemporary and classic love songs.

"Gorleston is a home from home and we love appearing at the Pavilion whenever we get the opportunity.

"This year the band will be celebrating 36 years of being East Anglia’s premier big band having entertained tens of thousands of people over the years."

The event is scheduled to finish by 5pm.
