A teenager from Norfolk has died after being stabbed in an attack in Ipswich.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to Westgate Street in the town centre at about 3.35pm on Tuesday after reports a man had been stabbed.
Late on Tuesday evening Suffolk police confirmed that an 18-year-old man died as a result of the incident.
It has since been revealed that the 18-year-old was from Norfolk.
Police are still hunting two suspects that they believe were involved in the incident.
One suspect headed towards the town's Providence Street and the other suspect was seen to be heading towards the Cornhill.
Most of Westgate Street was cordoned off by police as a result of the stabbing.
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Connick from Suffolk police said: “This was a brazen attack in the town centre which will have caused great distress to anyone who witnessed it."
