A group of men attacked a car in Brandon while the driver sat inside.
The incident happened at a car park behind Hyams Bakery in Beavor Lane between 10.40pm and 10.50pm on Saturday, January 7.
The victim was sat at traffic lights in Thetford Road when they saw a silver Audi A4.
All of the occupants of the Audi were looking at the Polo.
The Audi turned around and followed the Polo to the Beavor Lane car park.
Several men got out of the car and started throwing bottles and using objects to hit the Polo, piercing the body of the car.
Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, has any dash-cam footage from the area around that time, saw any suspicious activity or has any other information to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference 37/1406/23.
