Parts of Norfolk are at risk of flooding due to rising river levels causing roads to be closed.

The alert covers the Hundred Foot Washes area, including the causeway at Welney and into Cambridgeshire.

Flood water is moving down the River Great Ouse causing flooding in the area.

This is affecting the causeways at Sutton Gault and Welney.

Welney Flood Watch has said there is fast flood water rushing across the Welney Causeway and flooding could rise to 28cm.

The Environment Agency expects river levels to remain high on the Hundred Foot Washes for at least today.

Due to the uneven surface of the roads, water may be deeper in places.

The Environment Agency is liaising with Norfolk Highways, which will decide when to open Welney Causeway.
