A woman in her 50s has been taken to hospital after being helped rescued by a Norfolk lifeboat crew.
Hemsby Broads Rescue were called to assist the ambulance service just before 9am in Horning on Friday (December 30) after reports of a woman suffering from a "medical incident" aboard a boat.
Hemsby Lifeboat said the woman had required hospital assessment.
A member of the public had already offered assistance to the ambulance crew and transported them across the river to the casualty vessel.
On arrival, the lifeboat crew transported the woman and paramedics back across the river to the waiting coastguard teams from Winterton and Bacton.
After the woman was in the care of the ambulance, Hemsby Lifeboat returned to base for a clean down to prepare for its next emergency call.
