A north Norfolk pub has been named among the best gastropubs in the country.
The White Horse, in Brancaster Staithe, is a finalist in Estrella Damm's Top 50 Gastropubs list for 2023.
Rob Williamson, general manager, said staff were "over the moon" after hearing the news.
"What an amazing pre-Christmas present for our deserving head chef Fran Hartshorne and her fabulous team of chefs who work so hard to serve dishes that our wonderful customers desire which always include the best of local produce," he said.
"The whole White Horse team is delighted and we will certainly be celebrating this fabulous news and looking forward to the final number listing being revealed in January."
A crowning ceremony for all award winners will take place on Monday, January 23, 2023, at The Unruly Pig in Bromeswell, Suffolk.
Elsewhere in Norfolk, Stanhoe's The Duck Inn also made it on to the prestigious list.
