With up to 40 holiday homes signed up to the accommodation agency, dog owners have plenty of "beautiful spots" along the Norfolk coast to choose from.

But Ms Allen said they are not just dog-friendly they are "dog-welcoming", going above and beyond to ensure owners and their pooches have a relaxing time.

With dog crates upon request, dog buggies for elderly or young pups who can't keep up with the pack and even homemade doggy treats - East Ruston Cottages offers a bespoke service.

Ms Allen said she also helps owners with reactive dogs to find the perfect locations and some cottages have an unlimited number of dogs allowed, at no additional cost.

"This part of Norfolk is super dog-friendly and we have built a very successful."

Following a huge increase in dog ownership during the pandemic. more dog-friendly businesses have been popping up all over the county.

Over the last 15 years, Ms Allen said the competition has increased but they "work hard" to remain at the top of their game.
