A former pub close to Great Yarmouth's third river crossing development is up for auction.

The two-storey Southgates Road property - formerly the Albert Tavern - has been converted into offices and four self-contained apartments.

It will go up for auction on Wednesday, December 7 with a guide price of £350,000.

Auction House East Anglia has described the property as "an excellent investment opportunity".

Spread over two floors, the property has three part-converted office suites on the ground floor and a two-bedroom flat with a large open-plan lounge/kitchen and a private bathroom.

On the first floor is an office, store room and three flats, each containing a kitchen, lounge and bathroom.

One flat has two bedrooms with one en suite.

As the property is close to the development site of the third river crossing, the auction house also said they expect there to be a high demand for the accommodation once work on the £120m bridge is complete.

The former pub has recently seen improvements, including double glazing with a 10-year guarantee and electric heating.
