A Christmas flotilla brought a wave of festive cheer to the Norfolk coast this weekend.
The Wells Christmas Tide Festival took place over three days with the main event, on Saturday, seeing ITV Anglia broadcaster David Whiteley turn on the lights in Staithe Street.
A lantern parade to the quayside then followed.

Father Christmas himself arrived by boat later that evening, accompanied by a flotilla of illuminated vessels, before a fireworks display over the marshes.

Mel Catton, one of the committee members, said: “It was absolutely marvellous. The spectacle of the flotilla was spectacular, like nothing I had seen in Wells before.
“The whole day was brilliant, it seemed everything we put on clicked. We just want to thank everyone who helped put the event on, and those who turned up.”
