"Two of the special little kittens who were dumped at a recycling centre are ready to find their forever homes.

"They are called Jenga and Puzzle and they are nervous little kittens so they will need a nice, patient owner after their traumatic and tragic experience.

"These two little sisters will need to be rehomed together for company.

"The other kittens and mum are also doing well and recovering in foster care."

Sex: Male

Age: 12-years-old

An East Coast Pet Rescue spokesperson said: "Ollie is a beautiful male staffie and he has recently been castrated.

"His foster mum says that his favourite thing is a cuddle on the sofa and 40 winks.

"He is a very laid-back boy who also enjoys his walks.

"We believe he has limited hearing and he is fine when saying hello to people and other dogs.

"But Ollie does not like being left alone and he will cry even at night unless he is able to sleep in his bed in his human's bedroom.

"Ollie would like someone to be at home most of the time, and someone who can teach him it's okay to be left alone."

Sex: Male

"Poor Mowgli has lived a hard and cold life on the streets.

"He is quite shy as you can imagine after having to fend for himself.

"Mowgli has been castrated and he had his first vaccination so now he is ready for the right forever home.

"He will need a kind and patient owner who is willing to let him settle at his own pace, to help him feel safe and to gain confidence.

"He will need to be kept indoors until he is completely settled and confident around his new owner.

"Once that happens, and it will with patience, he would love access to a nice garden.

"A quiet adult-only quiet would suit him best."

Sex: Female

"Ella is still patiently waiting but she has her paws crossed that this week she will find her forever family.

"She happily greets everyone and is a lovely lady.

"She is your typical tortie who wants fuss on her terms.

"Ella is such a sweetheart and we hope her forever mum or dad are reading this."

"Mayflower is a pretty adult tortie.

"She is a shy girl but she is making good progress in her foster home.

"She has recently been paired with a very confident and friendly kitten who is eight months old called Lovebug.

"They would like to be rehomed together for confidence and company.

"Lovebug is a tiny little bundle of fun."
