A suspected drink driver has been arrested as a BMW flipped over after a crash with a parked car in west Suffolk.
The incident happened in outside the China Garden restaurant in London Road, Brandon, over Saturday night.
Police arrived to discover the black BMW, which was being driven by a man and had a young child as a passenger, had been wrecked after the crash.
Overnight #NRT5 attended an RTC in #Brandon where a car had collided with a parked car and rolled over. A male and young child were in the car. The driver was breathalysed and was about three times the drink drive limit for alcohol, police said on Twitter.
Officers believe the young child was sitting on the driver's lap at the time of the crash.
Both the driver and the passenger were unhurt in the incident.
The driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
