Flood alerts have been issued in Norfolk ahead of more unsettled weather.

The Environment Agency has warned that riverside and low-lying roads could see minor flooding as river levels rise during the rest of today and into tomorrow morning.

Alerts have been issued for the River Bure, Spixworth Beck and surrounding Becks, River Glaven through Hunworth, Thornage and Letheringsett.

Horsford, Crostwick, Corpusty, Saxthorpe, Itteringham, Ingworth, Aylsham and Burgh-next-Aylsham on the Bure could also see flooding as a result of rising levels on the River Bure.

While Letheringsett, Little Thornage and Glandford could be impacted by the River Glaven.

The Environment Agency said: "The weather forecast is for further rain today and for continued unsettled weather over the next couple of days.

"Take care on riverside footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger."

It said it was monitoring the situation and will update its advice by midday tomorrow (November 18).

It comes after alerts were already announced earlier in the day for east Suffolk and south Norfolk.
