Are you looking for a new four-legged friend to complete your life?

Here are five dogs at Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Snetterton who would love to find their forever homes in time for Christmas.

Sex: Male

Age: One

A Dogs Trust spokesperson said: "Paddy is a dachshund, beagle and basset hound cross.

"He is a very handsome boy and has an equally charming little personality.

"He loves cuddles, using his nose to sniff and explore and chasing after teddies.

"Paddy came into our care after not getting on with another dog in the home, because of this he will need to be the only dog in his new home.

"He is still young and has walked nicely with other dogs at the centre so with continued positive interactions, he could have some doggy friends to socialise with outside of the home.

"At one years old, Paddy is still very young and will need a moderate amount of exercise so is looking for fairly active adopters who can take him on interesting walks and help him burn off some energy."

Chloe, golden retriever

Sex: Female

Age: Ten

"Chloe is a beautiful girl who is full of life and fun.

"She is a very loving, friendly girl who has been instantly friendly to everyone she has met.

"Chloe has previously lived with children and could do so again - with children aged five and over who have had previous experience with bigger dogs.

"Chloe would enjoy having her own garden to explore, but this is not essential as long as she has regular access to a secure off-lead area.

"She would like to be the only dog in the home but could have some calm doggy friends that are of a similar size to her to lead walk with.

"She finds smaller dogs worrying and will try to avoid them.

"At ten years old, Chloe is still very playful and she loves her toys."

Derby, German shepherd

Sex: Male

Age: Two

"Handsome boy Derby is a two-year-old German shepherd who loves hanging out with his favourite people and playing with his toys.

"You'll always find him carrying something in his mouth, either a teddy or the biggest stick he can find out on a walk.

"It will take a few meets to get to know Derby, but once you're in his inner circle, you'll get to see the lovable boy that we all know.

"Derby will need someone patient who is happy to follow the guidance from our training and behaviour team to give him the best possible start in a new home.

"He would like his new family to have had some experience with owning dogs, ideally German shepherds.

"Derby is a very sweet boy with people he knows but he does take his time getting comfortable with new people and until he is ready, he won't want lots of close handling.

"He would like to be the only pet in the home and his ideal location would be a quiet area where he won't see many dogs as he finds this frustrating.

"Derby is currently on medication for a medical condition which could be ongoing. Potential adopters should be aware that there will be a cost involved with this."

Spud, Norfolk terrier

Sex: Male

Age: Eight

"Spud is an older lad looking for a slower pace of life.

"He could live with older children aged twelve plus who will understand that Spud may not want lots of interaction all of the time.

"Although Spud enjoys a little potter, he is not one for long walks and would prefer to have his own garden to enjoy at his leisure.

"Since being at the centre, Spud is not too keen on being around other dogs and much prefers spending his days with people.

"He can be vocal when he sees other dogs out and about so may need a bit of help in this area.

"He will therefore need to be the only pet.

"Spud is looking for that ideal retirement home, where he can enjoy a quiet and peaceful lifestyle in the company of his favourite people.

"He would enjoy the occasional plod around the neighbourhood followed by curling up on the sofa for a little snooze.

"Being an older lad, he does have some stiffness around his back legs and is currently on pain relief for this.

"Potential adopters should be aware of the potential cost associated with this."

Ella, Labrador cross

Sex: Female

Age: Eight plus

"Ella is a very sweet girl looking for a quieter home.

"She is friendly but can be worried by new people but once she gets to know you and begins to feel more confident, Ella loves nothing more than cuddles on the sofa.

"She has previously lived with children and could do so again, with calm, dog-savvy children aged ten plus.

"Although Ella is friendly to other dogs, she would like to be the only pet in the home but could have some calm doggy friends to walk with.

"Ella really enjoys going for short, frequent walks and she will even bring you her lead when she thinks it is time for a walk.

"Ella enjoys playing with soft toys and would ideally like her own garden to explore but this is not essential, as long as she has regular access to a secure off-lead area.

"Do you have room on your sofa for Ella?"
